ABOUT THE ROLE

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization. This role encompasses a wide range of activities, including producing and formatting documents, collecting, recording, sorting, and accurately filing information, preparing routine reports and documentation, as well as planning and coordinating plant events. The Administrative Assistance may also perform data entry tasks, greeting visitors, and assist in various administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the organization. The position plays a key role as the owner of the Safety pillar, which includes ensuring monthly activities are on track, coordinating safety training and filing records. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, playing a crucial part in maintaining effective communication and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the Administrative Assistant must demonstrate care and passion for team member engagement, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Starting Hourly Wage: $37\.37 Schedule: 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Organize meetings, meals, plant tours, reports related to recurring activities.
  • Collect and track shop floor training documentation to ensure timely completion of new hire and annual training requirements.
  • Assist with UPS and FedEx shipping procedures.
  • Plan events for small and large groups including scheduling, collaborating with other departments, ordering food and supplies, and assembling materials.
  • Conduct internal ISO9000 audits in preparation for annual formal audits, help with continuous improvement within 5S areas, and participate in weekly 5S audit activities.
  • Lead the Safety pillar activities and maintain the KPI Scoreboard.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, customers, vendors, and others.
  • Assist with onboarding activities.
  • Facilitate team member and community engagement programs.
  • Support HS\&E (Health, Safety, and Environment) activities.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the front office and other administrative areas.
  • WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible working schedule (Days and occasional evenings)
  • Experience with Microsoft / Google Office Products
  • Experienced at multitasking and being self\-directed
  • Additional Requirements:

    Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
