  • The College of Health Sciences seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to teach courses in nursing at the graduate and undergraduate levels. This faculty position, based in the School of Nursing, is a 10\-month academic year position.

  • Faculty employees also contribute to the Georgia College core curriculum by teaching topical freshman (GC1Y) or sophomore seminar (GC2Y) courses.

  • Educational Requirements

    Assistant Professor of Nursing 10 month (tenure track), PhD or DNP required

    OR

    Associate Professor of Nursing 10\-month with prior full\-time faculty rank appointment at Associate Professor Rank or Full Professor Rank (that meets the SON tenure and promotion guidelines\_ with PHD (DNP will be considered)

    Must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements as stated in C.S. 3\.7\.1 (www.sacscoc.org (faculty credentials)).

    Required Experience

    Unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the United States with the ability to obtain a license in the state of Georgia upon appointment.

    3 years of clinical practice as a Registered or Advanced Practice Nurse.

  • The salary range would start at minimum of $50,000\.00 to a maximum of $75,276\.00\.
