Position Title: PT Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Manager
Status: Part\-time 20 hours per week

Job Description
East Bay Church of Religious Science (EBCRS) seeks a highly responsible and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the smooth functioning of the church’s office and facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our physical spaces are welcoming, safe, and well maintained while also providing administrative support for day\-to\-day operations and events.
The Operations Coordinator works closely with church leadership, staff, volunteers, and community members to coordinate facilities needs, support ministries, and maintain clear communication across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and communicates with warmth and clarity.
Facilities Responsibilities include:
- Track and coordinate building repairs, maintenance, and service vendors in partnership with the Operations Manager
- Support the Volunteer Facilities Team, helping organize projects and communicate priorities
- Coordinate building access
- Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies
- Provide on\-site and virtual administrative support to ministries, volunteers and leadership teams
- Serve as primary receptionist during church office hours \- answering phone, email, and greeting guests
- Coordinate the schedule of events and maintain the church calendar
- Provide administrative and operational support for events
- Other duties as assigned

- Clear and kind verbal and written communication with the ability to say no and hold boundaries
- Exceptional organizational skills with consistent accuracy, attention to detail and follow\-through
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and database management
- Experience with office and/or facility management
- Part\-time \- 20 hrs per week
- Hybrid position with on\-site Office Hours
- Weekend and/or evening event support required
- Hourly rate of $25\-30 depending on experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of experience in a responsible administrative capacity
