Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing exceptional administrative support with virtual care management services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a compassionate demeanor, and familiarity with medical terminology to ensure seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

  • Outreach patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments for in person remote patient monitoring services.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow\-up appointments, and billing inquiries
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient care continuity
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Skills

  • Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate accurate communication and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast\-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate patient support
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and practice management systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Experience in medical administrative support roles is a plus
