Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! Our office is rather casual, friendly, and family oriented. As the only assistant in the office, you will serve as the backbone of our office operations, providing exceptional support to ensure smooth daily functions. Duties

  • Our 2\-attorney firm handles primarily actions on behalf of abused elders and dependent adults. This position involves patience in dealing with family members who are suffering or have suffered family tragedies.
  • Operate multi\-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
  • Handle data entry tasks with accuracy, including filing, record keeping, and updating databases using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Support office management by organizing schedules, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings or appointments
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities such as invoicing, expense tracking, and basic financial recordkeeping
  • Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, or in person; address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity; ensure all correspondence is professional and error\-free
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook), Google Workspace tools, Adobe, and basic computer literacy
  • Law office experience preferred.
  • Excellent and patient communication skills serving diverse clients, courts, and other law offices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy; familiarity with data entry procedures
  • Knowledge of office management practices including filing systems, calendar management, and time management techniques
