- Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Collect payments and perform accurate medical collections while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with health information management standards.
- Answer multi\-line phone systems efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
- Support front desk operations including filing, data entry, and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Meditech.
- Extensive experience with medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD\-9/10\), and documentation review.
- Proficiency in dental office management software including Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and health information management protocols.
- Ability to perform insurance verification and handle Medicare\-related processes accurately.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10 key), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred, along with familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
