Recognized as the premier electrical training school in the nation, the Net Zero Plus Electrical Training Institute in Los Angeles is a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 11 and the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association. Each year, we train more than 4,000 electrical workers and contractors at our state\-of\-the\-art electrical training center to prepare them for challenging and rewarding careers in the electrical industry.

Temp FULL\-TIME HR \& BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT

Position Summary – HR Duties

  • Review paperwork, classify, scan and save documents according to retention guidelines
  • Create or update records with new files and information
  • Store all paperwork in designated places securing the important documents
  • Provide administrative support to HR department by performing various tasks, such as scanning, filing, mail handling.

  • Position Summary – Accounting Duties

  • Provide administrative support to accounting department by performing various tasks, such as scanning, filing, mail handling.
  • Prepare and send out accounts receivable invoices by collecting all the information/supporting documents required to complete them.
  • Classify accounts payable invoices and perform AP transaction entry tasks, such as class deposit refund transactions.
  • Reconcile the monthly class deposit receipts spreadsheet.
  • Collect receipts/invoices for the monthly company credit card statements
  • Education and Experience

  • Previous HR and bookeeping experience is required.
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft 365 (WORD, Outlook, and Excel), Adobe, and file management program.
  • Must have ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Must have proficient typing skills and enter data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • This position is a Temp\-Hire, hourly, non\-exempt position. Normal working hours 7:30am\-4:30pm M\-F with an hour lunch. This position requires the employee to work at the office, and not from home. Must be reliable and dependable.

    Pay: $26\.00 \- $32\.00 per hour

    Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Human resources: 1 year (Required)
