Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Construction Assistant to support our construction team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the construction office and on\-site activities.
Duties:
- Assist with daily office management tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Manage phone to handle incoming calls and provide excellent phone etiquette.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting clients with their needs.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for document preparation, scheduling, and communication.
- Support project management by maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Process invoices, contracts and change orders
- Communicate with subcontractors and clients
- Provide general office and project support as needed
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred, with a focus on administrative or clerical roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software such as QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast\-paced environment
