The Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications from qualified candidates to join our faculty in an open rank, full\-time, 12\-month non\-tenure track position. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, student advisement, university and professional service, overseeing the admissions process, with opportunities to participate in clinical practice. Faculty will be expected to disseminate scholarly work in accordance with professional and college guidelines. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.

EDUCATION: Clinical or post\-professional Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field (OTD, DrOT, DSc, EdD, ScD, PhD).
EXPERIENCE: Three (3\) years of post\-licensure clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist. E xcellent communication, conflict management and problem\-solving skills. Strong leadership skills and a vision for excellence. University or clinical teaching experience in needed content areas. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
LICENSES: NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist. Licensed and eligible to practice occupational therapy in the State of Tennessee.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five or more years of post\-licensure clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level in the areas of mental health and pediatrics.
- Experience supervising graduate students.
- A demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Defined research agenda with a history of peer\-reviewed publications
- Evidence of leadership in a professional organization at a state or national level
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Evidence of leadership or administration in clinical practice

The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator will play an important role in preparing graduate\-level occupational therapy students to serve as clinic administrators, providing critical workplace experiences as they address the needs of young patients and their families. On\- and off\-site services are available for the graduate students in Occupational Therapy, including direct therapy, consultations with parents and teachers, training and coaching for parents, and workshops.
THE COLLEGE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS
