Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders using accounting software Sage.
  • Verify invoice accuracy by cross\-referencing purchase orders, receipts, and contractual agreements.
  • Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Ensure timely payments by adhering to payment schedules and organizational policies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger by verifying entries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month\-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Support data entry tasks with high accuracy to maintain up\-to\-date financial records.
  • Analyze invoice trends and provide reports to management for strategic decision\-making.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience with accounting software such as Workday, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft or HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to review financial data critically and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast\-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting roles is preferred but not essential. This role provides an engaging environment where your organizational skills and accounting expertise will be valued as part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in financial management.
