This position provides senior level leadership and strategic oversight of statewide quality review operations, including on\-site inspections, consultative reviews, and technical assistance initiatives for service providers. Through subordinate managers, the Assistant Quality Management Administrator ensures regulatory compliance, identifies systemic risks, and drives sustainable quality improvement aligned with the Division’s mission and performance goals. Serving as a key partner to executive leadership and the Quality Enhancement Manager, this role analyzes quality trends, informs policy and operational decisions, and leads cross functional initiatives to strengthen service delivery outcomes. As a senior liaison, the Assistant Quality Management Administrator collaborates with internal Department of Human Services leadership and external oversight entities to gather and interpret service quality data that supports transparency, governance, and executive decision making. This role requires statewide engagement and travel.Essential Functions

  • Serves as Assistant Quality Management Administrator and Manager of the Quality Review Unit.
  • Serves as full line supervisor.
  • Serves as a member of the bureau’s management team in researching developmental disability issues of significance to the quality enhancement function of the Bureau of Quality Management.
  • Develops, revises and processes survey forms used within the Bureau.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4\) years college.
  • Requires three (3\) years of progressively responsible administrative experience working at a private or public organization that provides services to individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3\) years of professional management experience in the monitoring and directing of quality enhancement activities for service and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Three (3\) years of work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Three (3\) years of professional supervisory experience assigning work, providing guidance to subordinates, recommending counseling and/or discipline following collective bargaining agreements, training staff and approving time off.
  • Two (2\) years of experience implementing policies and procedures for people with developmental disabilities.
  • Two (2\) years of professional experience recommending improvement plans in the area of auditing, survey’s and corrective action plans.
