Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail\-oriented Catering Coordinator \& Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a hybrid role that bridges the gap between the office and the kitchen. You will be the "glue" that keeps our events running smoothly—from the first phone call and prep list to the final pack\-up and inventory check.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming catering inquiries via phone and email; maintain and update event spreadsheets and client databases.
- Logistics \& Inventory: Handle local pickups for ingredients and supplies; track inventory levels to ensure we never run out of essentials.
- Kitchen \& Event Prep: Translate menus into actionable prep lists for the culinary team; assist with basic assembly and organization of food items.
- Event Execution: Pack, load, and organize equipment and food for off\-site events; ensure all kits (linens, serving ware, decor) are complete and professional.
- Organization: Maintain a tidy catering storage area and ensure all equipment is returned and accounted for post\-event.
- The "Pro" Multi\-tasker: Ability to shift gears quickly from data entry to physical labor.
- Tech\-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is a must.
- Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for inventory pickups.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet during event pack\-outs.
