Responsibilities Accurately transcribe physician\-patient interactions in real\-time using electronic health record (EHR) systems and paper systems, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers by capturing detailed notes on patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow\-up instructions. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient privacy at all times. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation efficiently, ensuring all records are complete, organized, and compliant with healthcare standards. Support physicians during patient examinations by documenting vital signs, physical findings, and other relevant clinical information. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely updates of patient charts and accurate coding for billing purposes. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to enhance the quality of documentation and understanding of clinical workflows. Experience Prior experience in medical office settings or healthcare environments is highly preferred; familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems is essential. Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken language into written records under time constraints. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA is required. Experience with typing and medical transcription tools to ensure swift and accurate documentation.
