About Banzerini House Banzerini House is a nonprofit arts academy and production organization based at Pioneer Living History Museum in North Phoenix. We provide training and performance opportunities in theatre, film, and the arts, while producing shows and events for our community. We’re looking for someone creative, organized, and comfortable with technology to help promote our programs, productions, and events. You’ll take photos and videos, create social content, send weekly marketing emails, and help keep our audience informed and engaged. This is an entry\-level opportunity. Students are encouraged to apply, and no degree is required. We’re interested in your computer skills, creativity, reliability, and willingness to learn. School projects, club accounts, personal creative work, and previous jobs can all be useful examples of your abilities. What you’ll do Create and publish social content: Help manage our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts, including posts, Stories, Reels, and short videos. Send weekly email blasts: Write, build, proofread, and schedule emails promoting upcoming shows, enrollment, fundraisers, and special events. Capture photos and videos: Attend scheduled classes, rehearsals, performances, and events to document what’s happening at BH. Edit content: Turn photos and footage into finished posts and videos with appropriate captions, music, clear audio, and formatting for each platform. Plan ahead: Maintain a simple content calendar and coordinate with our team so promotions go out consistently and on time. Support promotions: Help create graphics, event announcements, performer spotlights, behind\-the\-scenes content, and other marketing materials. Keep information accurate: Check dates, times, names, ticket links, and program details before submitting content for approval. Help with audience communication: Monitor comments and messages during scheduled work time, respond to routine questions, and pass other inquiries to the appropriate staff member. Organize digital assets: Keep photos, videos, graphics, and documents organized in Google Drive and our internal systems. Review results: Track basic engagement and email performance to help us understand what content works. Stay connected: Use Slack and our custom administrative tools to communicate, receive assignments, share drafts, and track progress. What we’re looking for Strong computer proficiency: Comfortable using a desktop or laptop, managing files and folders, working across browser tabs and applications, uploading and downloading assets, and handling basic troubleshooting. Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok: Understand how to create, format, and publish content for each platform. An eye for photography and video: Understand basic framing, lighting, and sound. Quality content captured on a phone is welcome. Basic editing skills: Able to trim footage, add captions, resize content, and produce clear, engaging short videos. Clear writing and attention to detail: Comfortable writing captions and short promotional emails, proofreading, and checking information. Familiarity with Google Workspace: Comfortable with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, including shared files and collaboration. Working knowledge of Slack: Comfortable using channels, threads, notifications, and file sharing, with timely communication during agreed working hours. Willingness to learn our tools: We build and use our own proprietary administrative tools. You must be open to learning them, using them consistently, and providing feedback as they improve. Organization and follow\-through: Able to manage assignments, meet deadlines, ask questions when needed, and communicate when something is running behind. Professional judgment: Comfortable working around students, families, staff, and performers, and following our photo permissions and content approval process. Helpful, but not required Canva for graphics, templates, and promotional materials. Wix for basic website updates and email marketing. AI tools for brainstorming, writing assistance, editing, organization, or automation. Basic coding or experience connecting digital tools and improving workflows. Experience with promotions, events, community outreach, or nonprofit organizations. An interest in theatre, film, photography, or the performing arts. How we’ll work together You’ll work with BH leadership to set weekly priorities and get feedback and approval on content. We’ll provide guidance on our programs, brand, and internal tools, and we welcome your ideas. Some work will take place during rehearsals, performances, and events, so reliable transportation to our North Phoenix location and availability for scheduled afternoon, evening, or weekend assignments are important.
