Position Highlights: Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient practice, Mon\-Fri schedule. Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress test supervision, follow\-up visits, and early discharges. Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow\-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR. Full\-service cardiology practice – 30\+ experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region. Qualifications: NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification. PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. Prefer 2\+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making. * Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required.
