FDC Management Inc. is currently seeking an energetic, professional, personable, analytical, and customer service\-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team! As a Leasing Specialist, you will play an important role in driving occupancy and creating an exceptional experience for prospective and current residents. You will be responsible for leasing and renewing residential apartment homes, generating qualified leads, conducting property tours, following up with prospective residents, preparing lease packages, and providing outstanding customer service. Compensation \& Benefits $22\.00–$23\.00 per hour, depending on experience Performance\-based bonuses Wednesday \& Thursday scheduled days off Paid vacation Paid sick time Paid holidays Paid birthday off (waiting period may apply) Full\-time position Responsibilities Lease apartment homes by phone, through onsite presentations, and through offsite marketing efforts. Conduct property tours and effectively present community amenities, features, and apartment homes to prospective residents. Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into leases. Review, complete, and process rental applications and lease documentation accurately and timely. Prepare community/common areas, model and show apartments, and rental offices daily prior to opening. Work closely with the Community Manager to support the day\-to\-day financial, sales, marketing, maintenance, and administrative operations of the community. Assist with accounting responsibilities, including collections and timely processing of deposit accounting. Maintain the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and corporate departments. Lead by example and help ensure team members complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and professionally. Monitor staff tasks, delegate work as appropriate, and provide performance coaching when necessary. Help ensure associates comply with company time\-management policies, including meal and rest periods. Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and initiatives. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager. Requirements Minimum 1 year of multifamily housing experience or 2 years of customer service experience required. Yardi Voyager experience preferred. Reliable transportation. Strong organizational and time\-management skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong computer skills and general computer literacy. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments at both the community and regional levels. Self\-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures and bring any discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate manager. Must be available to work weekends and occasional evening hours. Must successfully pass required pre\-employment testing, drug screening, physical examination, and background check.
