Research Assistant, Institute of Gerontology, Part\-Time ============================================================ Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant, Institute of Gerontology, Part\-Time at its Detroit campus location. Position Purpose: --------------------- Provide part\-time support for research studies focused on social and psychological determinants of health and aging. Assist with day\-to\-day research activities, participant communication, data organization, and administrative support. Essential Functions: Assist with qualitative research activities, including scheduling interviews, organizing/editing/coding transcripts, maintaining study files, and supporting data management. Support recruitment, participant tracking, and study logistics for research activities Assist with literature reviews, formatting references, and preparing research\-related materials and reports. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: --------------------------- Education: Bachelor’s degree. Discipline: Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Life Sciences, Social Work, Gerontology, Criminal Justice, or related field. Experience: Entry level (at least one year of job\-related experience). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team.
