Stafford Acupuncture is a patient\-centered acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic dedicated to helping people reduce pain, improve function, and improve their quality of life through compassionate, individualized care. We're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator \& Clinical Assistant who enjoys helping people, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast\-paced environment. This unique role combines patient care coordination, hands\-on clinical support, and practice operations. You'll become an essential part of a small, close\-knit team and help create an exceptional experience for every patient. This position reports directly to the Clinic Owner and offers opportunities to grow into increased responsibility as the practice expands. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Coordination Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression. Answer phones, emails, and text messages. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar. Coordinate patient flow and process payments. Schedule follow\-up visits and support patients throughout their care. Clinical Assistant Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure each patient visit runs smoothly. Escort patients to treatment rooms, assist with treatment preparation, and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit. Assist the acupuncturist with patient care and treatment procedures as directed. Clean, sanitize, and reset treatment rooms and equipment between appointments. Reinforce post\-treatment instructions and help support a positive patient experience from start to finish. Practice Operations Open the clinic before patient appointments and occasionally close the clinic. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, including light cleaning. Monitor inventory and order supplies. Assist with marketing, social media, administrative projects, and community events. Take initiative, solve problems independently, and help improve office systems and workflows. Qualifications \& Skills Required High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service and administrative experience. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Comfortable using computers and office equipment. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Comfortable learning new technology. Preferred CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, or HIPAA training. No healthcare experience? In\-office Monday through Thursday: Monday: 1:00 PM–6:30 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Wednesday: 1:00 PM–6:30 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM–2:30 PM Friday: a couple hours of remote work On afternoon shift days, remote work is completed before arriving at the office to return patient calls, respond to messages, and prepare for the day. On morning shift days, remote work is completed before 6:00 pm. Compensation \& Benefits $18\.50–$20\.00 per hour. Performance reviews with opportunities for pay increases.
