Job Description: ==================== Primary Responsibility Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, the Concurrent Enrollment Program Coordinator supports the Concurrent Enrollment program in their local district. The primary role is to support the partnership between the local school districts (LEPs/Local Education Providers) and CMC campuses, build relationships with school district personnel, coordinate all aspects of the Concurrent Enrollment program between the LEPs and CMC, identify concurrent enrollment opportunities for students, and coordinate enrollment, testing, and related duties. Pre\-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards) Education and experience necessary to meet the rigors of the position. Examples may include a Bachelor’s Degree and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. Special skills or abilities which are directly applicable to the position: basic technology applications; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties; experience with organizing and coordinating events; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; computer skills and proficiency with common software such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of procedures and equipment, current office practices, concurrent enrollment programs, placement procedures and requirements, LEP and college operations designed, familiarity with academic, transfers and career advising. Hiring range \= $68,494\.40 \- $76,107\.20 ($32\.93 \- $36\.59 hourly) annual salary depending upon a combination of education and experience. Minimum Qualifications:** =========================== Essential Duties Build and maintain relationships with school district personnel. Serve as liaison between CMC campus and school districts. Educate and promote Concurrent Enrollment and ASCENT programs and courses to students, including orientations, high school registration events, presentations, small and individual meetings, and related events. Provide comprehensive support in partnership with LEPs and CMC campus for all Concurrent Enrollment activities, including admissions, coordinating placement testing, registration, schedule changes, and administrative duties applicable to Concurrent Enrollment. Educate and guide students to additional student resources, such as tutoring, mental health counseling, accessibility services, career advising and transfer processes, multi\-media/library services, testing, and communication in regard to CARE reports. Manage entire Concurrent Enrollment student workflow and life cycle: recruit students in collaboration with LEPs, application support, advising, registration, sponsored billing coordination between LEP and CMC accounts, data management, entry, and reporting of final grades. Interpret placement assessments. Understand Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) state policies, initiatives, grants, and programs regarding Concurrent Enrollment. Coordinate with CMC Accounts Manager on financial and or billing matters. Coordinate with Colorado Mountain College Registrar Office on final grades reports and transcripts Provide comprehensive academic support to students. Communicate with Assistant Deans of Instruction and faculty regarding current and future course offerings and the development and implementation of academic pathways aligned to CMC certificate, degree, and transfer programs. Participate in campus and college\-wide shared governance groups, task forces, and initiatives when necessary or relevant. Programs all Concurrent Enrollment section building into the college software and coordinate Concurrent Enrollment student enrollment. * Other duties as assigned. Supervision Received This position reports to a designated campus administrator. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not supervise staff but may at times serve in a lead role in areas of expertise. Special Conditions of Employment Successful completion of a background check will be required as well as a motor vehicles records report. Incumbents in this position will adhere to all safety and compliance policies of Colorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned. This position will be expected to travel within the designated service area to serve local school districts as well as within the CMC district/service area. Working Conditions This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 25 lbs; ordinary talking, hearing and full vision capabilities; and the ability to read/comprehend. Write, communicate orally, reason and analyze constantly; and perform calculations occasionally.
