Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual who has knowledge in lawn care, solar cleaning, window cleaning, and handyman services to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes, keep solar panels clean, windows shinning and occasionally assisting clients in handyman projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping, janitorial, window/solar cleaning, and a variety of handyman skills. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position from time to time will require additional work outside of this job description. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as trimming trees and shrubs. Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively. Assist in irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements. Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring equipment is stored properly. Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvements. Perform routine landscape maintenance Perform routine window and solar cleaning perform routine handyman services Occasional work outside of regular duties. Qualifications Experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is required. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices including tree trimming, irrigation, and other landscaping skills Proficiency in using power tools and landscaping equipment safely. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high\-quality results. A valid driver’s license Experience in handyman services/plumbing/light electrical/light wood working etc. Longo’s is hiring for a full time/part time/seasonal as needed/on call individual to fill the following position: Starting at $15\.50 up to $16\.50 per hour. FINAL PAY DOE This is an outdoor position which means you will be working outside 100% of the time, in the extreme heat, cold, rain or shine. Candidate must be able to work in extreme heat for long periods at a time. Job duties include: Lawn maintenance\- cutting grass, weed whacking, grass spreading, tree trimming, pulling weeds etc., solar panel cleaning\- climbing a ladder to a 1 story or 2 story roof and cleaning solar panels, window cleaning\-detail orientated cleaning windows and screens with specialized techniques and equipment and making screens from scratch, moving homes, dryer vent cleaning, Chimney sweeping, janitorial\-cleaning facilities based on checklist, Administrative/clerk type work and Landscape \- irrigation, turf, pavers, gravel spreading Handyman \- troubleshoot issues and solve customer problems for light electrical, light plumbing, drywall, light wood working, etc and much more. \- subject to probationary period. A typical work day in the summer : start time is at 5am, get the supplies/materials you need for the day and head out to the job site in a company truck. From there you are given a schedule of jobs that must be completed in a timely and efficient/quality manner. Jobs range from any of the following services we provide.
