Retail commercial property manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Retail Commercial Property Manager to oversee the management and operations of our retail property portfolio. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning, maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations of our commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will bring energy, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for property management to foster positive tenant experiences and maximize property value. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, managing vendor relationships, and supporting leasing activities to ensure our retail properties thrive. Duties Oversee daily operations of retail commercial properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality Manage lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation with tenants in accordance with landlord\-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify repair needs and oversee vendor services. Facilitate lease negotiations, upselling opportunities, and renewals to maximize occupancy rates and revenue Handle customer service inquiries from tenants and resolve conflicts efficiently through effective conflict management strategies Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and administrative records related to property management activities including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on retail or commercial properties Strong knowledge of landlord\-tenant operations , property management and maintenance law, finance for the purposes of new acquisitions Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell lease options and foster positive tenant relationships Solid understanding of legal contracts, lease agreements, and facilities management practices Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities Office experience including data entry, filing, legal administrative tasks, and general administrative support Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast\-paced environment Join us as a Retail Commercial Property Manager if you’re energized by building strong tenant relationships, optimizing property performance, and contributing to vibrant retail communities.
