Collects and analyzes data linked to clinical outcomes related to cardiac arrest management and other clinical presentations. Collaborates on the development and compilation of scorecard feedback on key performance metrics. Develops strategies and assist with delivery of educational content to improve departmental performance on scorecard metrics. Serves as back up to HIPAA Privacy Officer. Attend all department and county mandated personnel training. The assigned functional areas are Emergency Medical Services, HIPAA, Performance Improvement, Analytics, and/or Training/Educational Content. BRIDGE CLASS EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Four years of increasingly complex technical experience in the assigned functional area, comparable to experience at the Admin Assistant IV, or higher, level. This class can serve as a bridge class enabling individuals who do not meet the educational or professional experience standards listed above to qualify for this class by possessing four years of increasingly complex technical experience in the assigned functional area, comparable to experience at the Admin Assistant IV, or higher, level. The purpose of this bridge class is to promote upward mobility within the Fairfax County workforce. However, persons qualifying for this class on the basis of their technical experience may not substitute this technical experience for education, or for professional experience, in order to qualify for other employment opportunities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years' experience as an Advanced Life Support provider in a health care setting or fire\-based EMS agency. Experience in performance measurement and quality improvement activities. Experience in data reporting and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis; ideally in fire department or EMS system. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in working with electronic health records.
