Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Architect with a strong background in construction administration to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction completion, ensuring seamless coordination between design intent and on\-site execution. Your expertise in construction documentation, project management, and building code compliance will drive successful project outcomes. You will play a vital role in advancing sustainable design practices while managing client relationships and project schedules to deliver high\-quality architectural solutions on time and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, including renovations, interior design, and new construction, with a focus on accessibility regulations and construction regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive construction drawings, details, and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino 3D to ensure precise documentation for construction teams. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain momentum and meet critical deadlines. Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams through negotiation and clear communication to align project goals and resolve issues efficiently. Manage the preparation of construction estimates, cost analysis, and value engineering to optimize project budgets while maintaining quality standards. Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools like NavisWorks for clash detection, coordination, and 3D modeling for architectural design. Ensure all construction details adhere to accessibility standards, building codes, and safety regulations while incorporating sustainable design principles. Review construction management processes on\-site to verify that work aligns with design intent, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Prepare detailed construction administration reports including RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and progress documentation. Develop compelling renderings and visualizations using Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp to communicate design concepts effectively. Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and engaging with potential clients to foster new opportunities. Experience Proven experience as a Project Architect with a minimum of five years working on complex architectural projects involving construction administration. Extensive knowledge of construction management processes from initial planning through project closeout. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit (including BIM workflows), Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper 3D), SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and presentation purposes. Strong understanding of building code analysis, regulatory compliance (including accessibility regulations), and sustainable design practices. Hands\-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting, contract negotiation, and renovation projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools like 3ds Max or NavisWorks for visualization and coordination purposes. Excellent communication skills with an ability to negotiate effectively with clients and contractors while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
