Medical Scribe

PDEC scribes directly play a vital role in the care of our patients. Our scribes are responsible for preparing the chart and visit notes for upcoming appointments to maximize the efficiency of each visit. They work alongside the doctor's, nurse practitioners, and Physician Assistant as a valued part of each patient visit. This job is a great fit for someone who is looking to expand their medical knowledge, with the potential goal of going to physician’s assistant or medical school. Responsibilities Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with patient information and medical history. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and precise medical documentation. Understand and apply medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology in daily tasks. Assist in managing medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Support the medical team in various administrative tasks as needed.
