QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:+ Master's Degree + Administrator Certificate SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:+ Exhibit excellent communication (verbal and written), public relation, and interpersonal skills. + Possess knowledge and understanding of change process, organizational development, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills. + Possess knowledge and understanding of teaching methodologies and ability to provide assistance and instructional help to teachers in need of assistance. + Exhibit knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures of the MISD. + Display excellent organizational and consensus building skills. + Possess understanding of technology and its importance in the educational process. EXPERIENCE:+ Successful experience in the field of public education. + Successful experience as a classroom teacher. + Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Administration may find appropriate and acceptable. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:+ Lead the development, entry, and implementation of the campus master schedule + Supervise the campus grading system + Oversee the classroom walkthrough system and collection/analysis of data + Coordinate graduation + Manage and supervise campus learning recovery + Supervise the campus counseling program + Lead the college, career, and military readiness efforts + Supervise Advanced Academics: AP/DC/On Ramps + Oversee the Excellence in Teaching Incentive Program + Conduct classroom observations, collect and analyze data, and provide feedback + Ensure implementation of quality professional learning communities + Support the development and implementation of quality professional learning + Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community. + Align decisions to campus and district policies and administrative guidelines. + Perform other duties as may be assigned by the principal or district staff. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Work in supervisory capacities assigned by the Principal WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands:+ Managing simultaneously occurring projects, communicating effectively with the public, and making effective decisions while maintaining emotional control. Physical demands/environmental factors:+ Frequent prolonged and irregular hours that require physical stamina in monitoring student conduct and activities.
