Position Overview: The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Finance, Bureau of Health Finance is seeking to hire a detailed\-oriented manager for the position of Financial Analysis and Audits manager. The ideal candidate should find interest in reviewing healthcare provider cost reports and working with electronic spreadsheets and databases. The position will supervise and conduct desk audits and reviews of Bureau cost reports for provider types including hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) nursing home capital reports, ambulance transportation providers, and others as needed. The ideal candidate should possess work experience with Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting requirements, rate setting methodologies for hospitals, nursing homes, and other Medicaid providers, accrual basis accounting, developing financial analysis review reports, audit reports, and audit checklists.
