Overview TMJ \& Sleep Therapy Centre of Kansas is a specialty practice focused on helping patients with TMJ disorders, jaw pain, headaches, facial pain, sleep\-disordered breathing, and related airway concerns. We are hiring a Referral Relationship \& Marketing Coordinator. This is a relationship\-building and growth role, not a basic front desk role and not a pure digital marketing role. The primary purpose of this position is to build and maintain professional referral relationships with dental, medical, orthodontic, chiropractic, ENT, pediatric, school, and other community sources. The role also includes marketing support, campaign coordination, event promotion, and tracking which outreach efforts produce qualified patients. What This Role Actually Does Build and maintain relationships with professional referral sources Visit, call, email, and follow up with dental, medical, orthodontic, chiropractic, ENT, pediatric, school, and community contacts Help referral sources understand what types of patients are appropriate for our practice Track referral activity, source quality, and patient volume by source Coordinate basic marketing and outreach efforts, including social media coordination, email campaigns, event promotion, and campaign tracking Help organize outreach campaigns, professional events, school or parent outreach, and community education opportunities Communicate professionally with referral sources, patients, and the internal team Follow through on tasks without needing constant reminders Report what is working, what is not working, and where follow\-up is needed What This Role Is Not This is not a receptionist job. This is not a clerical referral\-processing job. This is not a fully remote marketing job. This is not a role for someone who only wants to post on social media. This is not a role for someone who avoids phone calls, follow\-up, or in\-person professional interaction. Who Will Do Well in This Role You communicate clearly and professionally. You are comfortable initiating conversations with professional offices and referral contacts. You can be persistent without being pushy. You follow through without needing constant supervision. You can track details accurately and understand why data matters. You are comfortable helping coordinate basic marketing and outreach efforts. You can represent a specialty healthcare practice with maturity and judgment. You can learn a complex clinical niche well enough to explain who we help, without trying to diagnose or give clinical advice. You care about whether activity turns into real patient growth, not just whether tasks were completed. Who Will Not Do Well in This Role You want a predictable desk\-only job. You dislike outreach, phone calls, or follow\-up. You are uncomfortable meeting or communicating with professional referral sources. You prefer vague goals instead of measurable results. You struggle to document activity accurately. You need frequent reminders to complete tasks. You are looking for a pure social media or graphic design position. You are uncomfortable being held accountable for follow\-through and growth\-related results. Requirements and Preferred Experience Strong communication skills are required. Reliable follow\-through and organization are required. Comfort with phone calls, professional outreach, and in\-person relationship\-building is required. Experience in dental, medical, healthcare, sales, referral development, community outreach, marketing coordination, or professional relationship\-building is preferred. Experience with basic marketing tasks, email campaigns, social media coordination, event promotion, or CRM/source tracking is helpful. Healthcare experience is helpful but not required if you are a strong communicator and quick learner. Compensation Compensation is expected to be in the range of $55,000\-$65,000 annualized, paid hourly and non\-exempt, depending on experience, communication ability, outreach ability, and demonstrated fit for the role. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved work\-related travel. This role may also be eligible for company\-wide bonus opportunities and a growth performance bonus opportunity based on qualified growth, completed exams from trackable growth sources, follow\-through, source tracking, and overall company performance. Schedule and Work Structure This is a full\-time position based in Wichita. The role is hybrid/mobile/local. Some work will be performed in the office, and some work will involve local outreach, professional visits, calls, follow\-up, events, and campaign coordination. This role works closely with the practice manager, doctor, clinical team, and administrative team.
