AppleTree Montessori is a well\-established Montessori school in Mission Viejo serving toddlers through preschool\-aged children in a warm, nurturing environment. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part\-Time Administrative Assistant to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, professional, and comfortable assisting in both office and classroom settings as needed.

Responsibilities:Administrative Support \& Operations

  • Answer phones, greet families, and assist with daily front office operations
  • Perform clerical duties including typing, data entry, record keeping, photocopying, and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain student files and records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with organization and coordination of school events and activities
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces
  • Student Supervision \& Support

  • Supervise children in classrooms and on playgrounds as needed
  • Provide personal care to students when necessary, including hygiene, diapering, toileting, and first aid
  • Use respectful, age\-appropriate language when interacting with children
  • Follow California Community Care Licensing Title 22 regulations and school policies
  • Communication \& Collaboration

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Communicate with parents in person and through written messages as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events
  • Support a collaborative and positive school culture
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 completed ECE units required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior administrative or school office experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
  • Proof of negative TB test or chest X\-ray
  • Proof of required immunizations, including Pertussis and Measles
  • Work Schedule:

  • Monday \- Friday, 3:00 pm \- 6:00 pm
  • Year\-round, part\-time position
  • Additional hours for school events may occasionally be available
