- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual properties and consolidated portfolios
- Lead month\-end and year\-end close processes
- Prepare and review P\&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Oversee daily AP, AR, tenant billings, CAM reconciliations, rent collection, daily and monthly banking transactions and reconciliations
- Review lease abstractions for accurate rent roll integration and revenue recognition
- Monitor property\-level cash flow, operating accounts, reserves, and debt service compliance
- Track loan compliance, covenants, and lender reporting
- Support audits, refinances, and lender requests
- Manage repair and maintenance\-related expenses
- Process full\-cycle payroll and maintain payroll\-related records
- Track employee time off, vacation, and sick time
- Provide basic HR administrative support as needed
- Manage payroll filings (W\-2s, W\-3s, 1099s/1096s) and tax deposits
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, business licenses, and Form 571\-L
- Coordinate with CPAs for year\-end reviews and tax preparation
- Supervise and support an Assistant Manager and AR/AP staff
- Handle finance\-related office tasks and required paperwork
- 5\+ years of CRE accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or manager\-level role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA desired but not required
- AppFolio proficiency preferred; QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, or similar also accepted
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Self\-starter who works independently and meets deadlines with minimal supervision
- Clear communicator — written and verbal — with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
- Adapts quickly in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment
