To recruit a Client Support Representative for Midwest Food Bank in Indianapolis, we need to meet Indeed’s 2026 Quality \& Safety Standards.
Midwest Food Bank is a faith\-based, non\-denominational non\-profit organization. Our mission is to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and providing disaster relief. As a top\-rated charity, we operate with integrity and transparency, serving thousands of partner agencies. We are seeking a dedicated Client Support Representative to be the primary point of contact for our partner agencies and ensure they receive the resources they need to serve their communities.
In this role, you are the face of Midwest Food Bank to our partner agencies (food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters). You will manage the coordination of food pickups, assist with agency applications, and provide ongoing support to ensure our partners can effectively distribute food to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Agency Coordination: Manage scheduling and communication for partner agency food pickups and deliveries.
* Application Processing: Assist new organizations through the application and onboarding process to become a Midwest Food Bank partner.
* Support \& Problem Solving: Respond to inquiries via phone and email regarding inventory, distribution schedules, and compliance requirements.
* Data Management: Maintain accurate records of agency interactions and distribution data in our internal CRM/database.
* Compliance Monitoring: Ensure partner agencies are adhering to safety and distribution guidelines through regular check\-ins and documentation reviews.
Qualifications:
* Experience: 2\+ years of experience in customer service or administrative support, preferably in a non\-profit or social services environment.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and professional service.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with database entry.
* Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
