TRANSACTIONAL ASSOCIATE
Denver Office (DTC) \| Full\-Time
Compensation: $136\-1460k per year, based on experience and reviewed annually. Position is exempt. Eligible for bonuses.
Woods Aitken LLP is seeking a Transactional Associate to join our growing and highly respected transactional practice. This role is an opportunity to step into meaningful, hands\-on client work alongside a collaborative team that values clarity, responsiveness, and practical legal solutions.
We are looking for an attorney with a strong foundation of 2\+ years and demonstrated interest in transactional law who is ready to contribute in a supportive and team\-oriented office environment. We offer flexibility with remote work as needed.
About the Role
You will work closely with attorneys across our transactional practice areas, with a significant amount of the work focused on general business matters and commercial real estate transactions. This role offers the opportunity to gain meaningful experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, organizing, and closing a variety of transactional matters while working directly with experienced attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transactional documents
- Assist with general business matters and commercial real estate transactions
- Support due diligence, entity formation, acquisitions, financing, leasing, and closing matters
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to manage transactions efficiently and accurately
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Contribute to a practice that values responsiveness, precision, and practical problem\-solving
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed, or eligible to become licensed, in Colorado
- 2\+ years of transactional experience preferred, though strong candidates with relevant internships, clerkships, or related experience will be considered
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Sound judgment and a practical, business\-minded approach to legal work
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across teams
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and strong commitment to client service
- Organized and detail\-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Tech\-comfortable and willing to learn new systems and processes including integration of AI
- Reliable, highly responsive, resourceful, and team\-oriented
