How you'll contribute

ATelemetry Monitor Technician who excels in this role:

  • Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
  • Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings.
  • Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
  • Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow.
  • Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput.
  • Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards.
  • Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    What we’re looking forEducation

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience

  • Previous experience in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting preferred.
  • Certifications* Certified Medical Assistant required from a nationally recognized organization (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or equivalent).

    * AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

  • Handle with Care certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Key services and units include:

  • 10\-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • 12\-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit
  • 12\-bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit
  • Skilled Nursing Unit
  • Sleep Lab
  • Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Five Operating Rooms
  • Two Endoscopy Suites
