The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX Enterprise Services Purchasing Compliance \& Audits team is looking for a professional with experience executing Customs compliance and operations work in an exporter/importer environment (preferred) or experience with Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Department of State \& Commerce Licensing, policy, or government relations field in Customs Brokerage to fill the role of Import Declaration Advisor. This position will plan, organize, and implement day\-to\-day import transactions to achieve targeted results in a fast paced and challenging environment. The Analyst will also provide classification support as required and will assist with the development and upgrade of classification training materials and facilitating training. This Analyst will work with global trade management programs like SAP GTS (Global Trade System) to ensure all classification master data is maintained and accurate and processes are correct. This position will help ensure that RTX fully complies with all classification regulations for both import and export.
What You Will Do
- Translate regulatory declaration requirements into comprehensive easy\-to\-understand consultative guidance in order to ensure compliance and facilitate shipment execution.
- Review valuation, country of origin and product related information obtained for accuracy
- Generate the required documentation necessary for import clearance instructions using SAP\-based and other systems
- Ensure compliant submission of import entry instructions to Customs Brokers, including management of customer expectations through collaboration, complete record keeping packages, and management of licensing requirements.
- Assess the accuracy of documentation provided by Customs Broker
- Monitor, escalate, and resolve Agent\-filer service failures.
- Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures. Recommends updates to processes and tools to accommodate compliant and facilitative goods flow.
- Represent the organization as primary contact for import declaration filings with internal customers and third party service providers
- Interface closely with colleagues in various businesses to identify and understand Raytheon’s products and supply chains.
- Support the classification processes in SAP GTS and other systems as used.
- Classify products with accurate Harmonized Tariff classifications (HTS), Schedule B, and other government agency classifications based on product attributes.
- University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 1\+ years of experience.
- Experience executing Customs Compliance and Operations work in an Exporter/importer environment or Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Department of State \& Commerce Licensing, policy, or government relations field
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Experience with PRISM or SAP.
- Experience representing the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
- Ability to work independently to make sound decisions that affect the supply chain organizations positively.
- Ability to elevate issues to management and offer recommendations/solutions.
- Experience working with colleagues to effect solutions to complex compliance requirements and needs.
Work with internal programs and function; Global Trade, Shipping, Receiving, International Logistics, Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD \- 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
