We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounting Assistant, report directly to our Finance Manager, and supporting our 3 unique hospitality and entertainment entities, which include: s*Perfect Parties USA, LLC, Artificial Ice Events, LLC, and Oceanview of Nahant.*

Our new Accounting Assistant, will have a *fantastic opportunity* to be *a key member* of our Accounting team.

- Support management of corporate card platform (Divvy), including coding, receipt tracking, and compliance follow\-up
- Process incoming ACH and wire payments; accurately record transactions in internal systems and notify appropriate team members
- Execute remote deposits across multiple business entities
- Assist with accounts receivable tracking and cash application
- Run weekly revenue and deferred revenue reports and review for accuracy
- Assist in preparation and reconciliation of monthly sales and meals tax filings
- Compile recurring reporting, including Top Vendors and Top Expenses (monthly and YTD)
- Follow up with vendors to collect W\-9s, certificates of insurance (COIs), and required documentation
- Assist with payroll preparation, including data entry and accuracy checks
- Maintain employee records and support HR documentation and compliance tracking
- Track PTO, benefits, and 401(k)\-related reporting support
- Assist with onboarding and administration of seasonal workforce
- Manage company mail, invoice scanning, and document routing
- Perform site\-level administrative tasks, including bank deposits and document collection
- Support permitting files and regulatory documentation
- Develop working knowledge of internal systems and workflows across all entities
- Provide day\-to\-day support across finance, HR, and operations as needed
- Escalate discrepancies, missing information, or time\-sensitive issues promptly
- High level of accuracy across financial data entry and reporting
- Strong follow\-through on documentation, compliance, and deadlines
- Ability to independently manage recurring workflows
- Organized, timely execution of administrative and financial tasks
- Reliable support during high\-volume or time\-sensitive periods
- 2–5 years in accounting support, payroll administration or support, or HR support roles
- Exposure to accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, or payroll processes
- Experience with systems such as Paylocity, QuickBooks/Sage, and Excel helpful
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)

This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and is responsible for executing established processes with accuracy, consistency, and strong follow\-through. The position plays a key role in maintaining organized systems, supporting compliance, and ensuring that recurring workflows are completed reliably and on time.
This is an in\-office, execution\-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, takes pride in precision, and can be counted on to manage both routine responsibilities and time\-sensitive tasks without oversight.
