Job Summary:

Welcome to First Physicians Group (FPG) We are scheduling virtual Interviews on Thursday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 20th between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Hiring for Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistant) and Clinical Care Coordinator II (LPN) positions.

Medical Assistant: $20\.00 \- $28\.20/hr

LPN: $24\.50 \- $36\.50/hr Please note that pay rates are calculated based on years of MA or LPN work experience.*

You will be contacted for screening and to schedule a virtual interview time on May 14th or 20th with a supervisor or manager from FPG.\* You will also be emailed a request to complete a clinical assessment online that is required for all applicants with FPG. Please complete this prior to your interview date/time.

FPG has various provider offices located in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice Areas areas:

  • Family Medicine
  • Pediatrics
  • Internal Medicine
  • ENT (ear, nose and throat)
  • Head \& Neck Surgery
  • GI
  • OB/GYN
  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Cardiology
  • Laryngology
  • Orthopedics
  • Pulmonology
  • Urology
  • * Positions available for both entry level and experienced clinical staff.

    Required Qualifications:

    * Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I):

    Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by:

  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
  • National Healthcare Association (NHA)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by:

  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
  • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.
  • Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1\) to two (2\) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire.

    Test for certification may be beyond the six (6\) month date.

    Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.* LPN (Clinical Care Coordinator II):

  • Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
  • LPN License (FL)
  • Mandatory Education:

    High School Diploma, GED or Certificate \- Required for Medical Assistant.

  • Must be able to provide proof of education (copy or photo of your diploma or GED, or transcrips showing date completed).
  • LPN Diploma/Degrees \- we can accept copy or photo of the degree or will need copy of official transcripts showing graduation info.
  • Required License and Certs:

  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30\) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions)
  • We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.*

    Work Days/Shift/Start Time:

    * Shifts are available Monday – Friday.

    * Day shift: 8AM \- 5PM (start and end times may vary at each office).

    * 8 hour shifts.

    * No weekend or Holidays.
