Position Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring that payroll and payroll\-related activities are processed appropriately, with guidance and general oversight from the Payroll Manager.
Job Qualifications:
- 1 year of payroll/HR/admin experience required
- High school degree, or GED, required
- Associate degree, preferred
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Prior DB experience, preferred
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment while meeting required reporting

- Ability to work independently, with little supervision, and interact positively with others
- Intuitive analytical skills to proactively address and identify accounting and operational issues
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner

- Run bi\-weekly payroll for Dutch Bros. LLC
- Process individualized payroll activities that include (but are not limited to):
- Administer stand employee bonuses, as dictated by Finance/Accounting Departments
- Distribute manual payroll checks
- Process manual checks, as requested by Human Resources Department
- Protect DB operations by maintaining strict confidentiality
- Track and update payroll change paperwork
- Print pay stubs upon request
- Create and maintain employee Payroll files for DB LLC
- Support employees with use of time and attendance software
- Answer inquiries regarding employment verification
- Assist employees with establishing online user access
- Document and update DB LLC payroll processes, as needed
- Provide payroll information to other departments, as needed, through reports, charts, graphs, or other requested presentation methods
- Respond to Verification of Employment requests and wage verifications
- Employee system troubleshooting
- Assist with employee questions regarding W2s, Direct Deposit, and pay\-stubs
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, as needed, to ensure all departments, Operators, and Franchisees have the necessary information

- Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
- Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
- Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job\-related tasks effectively.
- Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software. Familiarity with remote work platforms and software is crucial.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required for business meetings or other work\-related activities. Must be able to travel as needed, including driving or flying, and manage travel logistics effectively.
- Remote Work Setup: Employees should have a dedicated, ergonomic workspace with high\-speed internet, a reliable computer, and necessary tools like a headset and webcam. They must adhere to company policies on data security and professionalism while having access to IT support for technical issues.
