Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Temporary Scanning Office Assistant to support our administrative team with document processing and data management tasks. This energetic role offers an excellent opportunity to gain office experience while contributing to efficient record\-keeping and data organization. This is temp to hire position.

Responsibilities

  • Scan, digitize, and organize physical documents into electronic formats using scanning equipment and software
  • Enter data accurately into databases systems, and spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain organized filing systems both physically and digitally, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including typing, transcription, and order entry
  • Assist with data collection efforts by compiling information from various sources and creating pivot tables for analysis
  • Support office operations by managing basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and sorting documents
  • Ensure all records are kept up\-to\-date and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Experience

  • Previous clerical or office experience preferred, especially in data entry, medical or administrative roles
  • Familiarity with databases, Microsoft Excel is highly desirable
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in typing, transcription, and basic math calculations
  • Experience with filing systems, data collection, and organizing large volumes of documents is advantageous
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Basic understanding of office equipment such as scanners, printers, and fax machines
