We are seeking a dynamic and organized Part Time Church Administrator to support the daily operations of our vibrant faith community. Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and congregants warmly while providing exceptional customer support.
  • Answer multi\-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks and other office management tools.
  • Oversee calendar management for church events, meetings, and appointments to ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Handle correspondence via email and Google Workspace applications, proofreading communications for clarity and professionalism.
  • Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies, managing office equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of the workspace.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping duties including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record keeping.
  • Provide clerical support by preparing reports, proofreading documents, and managing incoming inquiries with courteous phone etiquette.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and assist in event planning to foster community engagement.
  • Utilize computer literacy skills across Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical and administrative skills in a fast\-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar).
  • Experience with multi\-line phone systems and front desk customer service is preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse community members better.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in proofreading, data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette combined with friendly customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Personal assistant or office management experience will be considered an asset.
