The Work
Lexipol’s Grant Team provides customized solutions enabling applicants to tap into federal, state, and private grants. More than $600 billion in nationwide grants is available to public safety agencies and local government each year. Few organizations have grants experts on staff, or the time to research opportunities and develop grant applications.
We offer three unique grant solutions:
GrantFinder, our grant search tool
GrantWriter, a retained service program for applicants in need of support for multiple projects and programs on an annual basis
GrantManager, a complete end to end retainedprogram for applicants throughout the entire grant lifecycle
The CSM – Grants plays a critical role in ensuring the success and renewal of Lexipol’s subscription\-based grants products, including GrantFinder, GrantWriter and GrantManager. This role focuses on account management, onboarding, and support of subscription clients, ensuring every customer experiences maximum value and service. The CSM manages administrative workflows, grant alert setup, and coordination of deliverables, serving as a liaison between clients, the Grants team, and internal stakeholders.
This is done through working in these areas of focus:
Retained Client Account Management (50%)
- Manage and fulfill contracted retainer grant subscription services under the GrantWriter and GrantManager programs.
- Manage and fulfill one\-time grant writing service contracts
- Coordinate setup and administration of GrantFinder subscriptions for retained clients.
- Support included grant writing and research services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Review and interpret funding opportunity announcements to identify applicable grants for clients.
- Assist with consult calls for prospective departments, offering recommendations and guidance.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing support for Retainer Services clients.
- Provide research and documentation support to ensure contract deliverables are met.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for GrantFinder subscribers.
- Manage client communication, setup, and configuration of grant alerts and calendars.
- Troubleshoot technical and account\-related issues promptly to ensure seamless client experience.
- Maintain accurate account records and service notes in CRM systems.
- Provide proactive outreach and training to drive product engagement and satisfaction.
- Submit weekly progress reports summarizing activities, renewals, and client outcomes.
- Attend weekly team meetings, client status calls, and check\-ins with leadership.
- Collaborate with the Grants team to improve process efficiency and cross\-functional workflows.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance the subscription client experience and service quality.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a local government, nonprofit, or related administrative environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts with attention to detail and timely delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills, including accurate recordkeeping.
- Comfort using technology tools and CRM databases for tracking and reporting.
- Proactive problem\-solving ability and a commitment to quality and accountability.
- Experience working with grants or funding programs in a local government or nonprofit context.
- Familiarity with public sector administration or grant compliance best practices.
- Experience with subscription\-based customer success or account management.
- Prior experience using CRM systems and grant management software.
- Achieve 80% or higher renewal rate for subscription products.
- Complete 90% of grant services within 12 months of contract start.
- Maintain a rollover rate of 10% or less across assigned accounts.
- Ensure all onboarding/offboarding processes are completed within defined SLAs.
- Deliver timely and accurate reports on client activity, renewals, and service fulfillment.
- Quarterly commission opportunities

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.
The base salary compensation is $75,000 plus an annual performance\-based bonus.
