Overview

Arthur is developing next\-generation mining and computing sites across the U.S., combining modular design, efficient energy usage, and strategic site selection.

The Entry\-Level Field Technician plays a key role in the on\-site execution of new facility deployments — supporting utilities coordination, contractor supervision, and installation of critical equipment such as containers, transformers, and switchgear, all of that followed closely by our experienced Head of Site Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local Suppport and Logistics:
  • Act as the on\-site support for utilities, office coordination, and deliveries,
  • Help organize local vendors, materials, and shipments.
  • Serve as the point of contact for site access and basic facility needs.
  • Contractor Support and Supervision:
  • Accompany and assist third\-party contractors (civil, electrical, telecom, etc.) during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Follow directions from the Site Development Manager or Project Lead to ensure tasks meet Arthur’s standards and safety protocols.
  • Report daily progress, issues, or deviations to the project manager.
  • Installation of Containers and Electrical Equipment
  • Assist in positioning and installing containers, transformers, PDUs, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
  • Support cable pulling, grounding, and electrical connection tasks (under supervision).
  • Ensure the correct layout and orientation of all site components according to design.
  • Energization \& Bring\-Up Support
  • Participate in pre\-energization checks and assist during power\-up and functional testing.
  • Record measurements, photos, and test results as instructed.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to verify site readiness and resolve minor issues.
  • Site Handover to Operations Team
  • Prepare the site for final inspection and operational readiness.
  • Ensure all documentation, testing results, and as\-built records are complete.
  • Support the transition of responsibilities from the Development team to the Operations team.
  • Support to Operations Team Between Projects
  • Provide on\-site assistance to existing facilities when needed (repairs, equipment swaps, logistics).
  • Help standardize procedures and share lessons learned between projects.
  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency and site maintenance practices

    Requirements

  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in industrial electrical systems (single and three\-phase up to 1000V).
  • Ability to work with electrical measurement tools and interpret readings accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of computer network cabling and hardware installation.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and ability to apply them in daily tasks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physically able to work on\-site, including outdoors and in technical environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to travel to remote areas (up to 50%).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center or Bitcoin mining environments.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, control panels, or VFDs.
  • Experience assisting in construction or site infrastructure projects.
  • Willingness to grow into a lead or supervisory role over time.
  • Familiarity with OSHA 10 / basic safety standards.

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands\-on and field\-oriented Site Technician to support the development of our Bitcoin mining operations in Texas and Oklahoma.

This position combines electrical expertise, field installation, and infrastructure maintenance responsibilities.

You will actively work on\-site installing, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, supporting the construction and expansion of our mining facilities, and ensuring reliable and safe operations.

This role involves frequent travel to different sites in the U.S. to perform maintenance, installations, and technical support in the field.

It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in outdoor and technical environments, and wants to grow into a Site Development Lead role over time.

Pay: $40\.00 \- $50\.00 per hour
