Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Clinical Therapist to join our team at Mountain Crest Counseling (MCC). In this role, you’ll provide outpatient perinatal mental health counseling for individuals, couples, and families, all through the convenience of telehealth. You’ll have the opportunity to support adults, couples, and families during one of the most important seasons of life\- serving those in any stage of the reproductive journey, including those who are trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or experiencing loss and grief, offering compassionate care that truly makes a difference.

Mountain Crest Counseling is a specialized practice dedicated to becoming the community's preferred choice for outstanding Perinatal Mental Health Care.
To reach this objective, every provider at Mountain Crest Counseling must either have completed or be in the process of obtaining specialized Perinatal Mental Health training.
As part of this position, financial assistance is offered to help you achieve the Perinatal Mental Health Professional Certification.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical counseling services to MCC clients as scheduled, adhering to company policies and contractual agreements.
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance, ensuring timely arrival at work.
- Hold the necessary licenses and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical codes applicable to the services rendered for MCC.
- Respond to client requests for service or inquiries within 24 hours during business hours.
- Address such requests by meeting with clients, conducting evaluations, and delivering necessary services.
- Communicate with a client's treatment team (e.g., PCP, psychiatrist, OBGYN) as needed.
- Complete written documentation for each client promptly, including intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge plans, and any other required forms or documents requested by MCC or third parties related to client treatment.
- Ensure client files are accurate and current.
- Conduct counseling services professionally to uphold and enhance the goodwill and reputation of MCC.
- Show respect and foster cooperation and collaboration with colleagues.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned and agreed upon in the contract or any contract amendments.
- Master's Degree in counseling or social work
- Available to conduct a minimum of 15 client sessions per week, contingent upon availability and referrals/scheduling by MCC
- Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Must arrive on time for work
- Be organized and detail\-oriented
- Exhibit a collaborative spirit as a team player
- Capable of working independently on assigned tasks
- Complete financial support for the initial perinatal mental health training is provided the contract is upheld for one year
- Paid Annual CEU PMH trainings
- Annual self\-care retention bonus of $200 (Starting at Level Two Contractor status)

Qualifications and Skills:
* Active, independent OR non\-independent license in the state of New Mexico (LMFT/LAMFT, LPCC/LMHC, LCSW/LMSW); a copy must be submitted to MCC

At Mountain Crest Counseling, we take pride in being a specialized practice dedicated to perinatal mental health. To ensure the highest quality of care, our Contractors either have completed—or are in the process of completing—specialized training with Postpartum Support International (PSI).
Compensation is aligned with each Contractor’s level of completed training, and we’re happy to walk you through how this is determined. In addition, Mountain Crest Counseling invests in our team by providing financial support for ongoing professional development.

Pay: $45\.00 \- $67\.00 per hour
