Position
We’re excited to welcome a full\-time Contracts and Office Manager to join our St. Paul team. This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into meaningful projects and grow your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. 106 Group provides consulting services for cultural heritage planning, cultural resource management, interpretation, and exhibit design. We work nationally with a diverse range of clients — including government agencies, corporations, community organizations, and tribal partners. You’ll be part of a creative team within a flexible and innovative workplace. This is an office\-based position that will provide support to the Business Team and to company employees. Occasional hybrid work is possible upon completion of training and in conjunction with Supervisor approval.
Salary
Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 base salary with a competitive benefits package commensurate with skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Contracting
Tasks will include contract creation (from existing templates), tracking, and management; updating contract templates; and occasionally booking project\-related or conference travel.
* Operations
Tasks will include supporting company operations through data entry, mail collection and distribution, office supply management, shipping and receiving, printing/scanning, updating process documentation, opening/closing the office each day, upkeep of the office to maintain a welcoming appearance, event planning (staff development \& social events), and answering the phone and welcoming visitors at the door.
* Business
Tasks will include new employee onboarding, expense sheet coordination, timesheet tracking, daily deposits, and monthly invoicing as well as participation in additional projects, according to skill level and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative, business, or legal\-related field (commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Previous experience as a part of a project team and/or with office administration
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on changing needs/schedules and work well under pressure
- Commitment to follow through and meet deadlines
- Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to collaboratively resolve challenges
- Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple teams within a predominantly remote working environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other current technologies
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Contribute to a company culture of teamwork, service, and excellence
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to assist with office related errands such as shipping packages and shopping for supplies
- Copy editing skills
