Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail\-oriented Leasing Manager \- Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic property management team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee leasing operations, provide exceptional administrative support, and ensure compliance with housing regulations. Duties
- Manage the full leasing cycle, including showing properties, processing applications, and executing lease agreements with attention to legal compliance such as LIHTC (Low\-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of leasing activities using Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; ensure data entry accuracy and timely filing of all documents.
- Coordinate property tours, upselling available units to prospective tenants through excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Support property maintenance requests by liaising with facilities management teams and tracking work orders within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord\-tenant law, contracts, and lease renewals; ensure all documentation aligns with legal standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette, resolving tenant inquiries efficiently while fostering positive relationships.
- Assist in conflict management by mediating tenant concerns professionally and maintaining a harmonious community environment.
- Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, and other property management software for data entry, reporting, and record keeping.
- Demonstrated experience in real estate administration, property leasing, and customer relationship management within a property management setting.
- Excellent legal administrative skills with familiarity in landlord\-tenant law, contracts, and lease negotiations.
- Effective conflict management abilities coupled with negotiation skills to resolve issues amicably.
- Exceptional office experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and handling sensitive documents securely.
