The Beverly Hills branch of our national law firm is seeking a full\-time Accounting Assistant with bookkeeping and accounting experience to support our growing team. Offers within the posted compensation range are directly commensurate with an applicant’s experience level.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ability to reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong, clear, and professional communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem\-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and common computer programs (Excel required)
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Preparing basic financial reports for management
- Coordinating with outside accountants as needed
- Supporting general administrative operations
- Assisting with office management tasks and miscellaneous administrative duties
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Law firm experience preferred but not required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
