*Position Overview*
Inspired Beauty Brands is seeking a Regulatory \& Compliance Senior Analyst to join our team. A key aspect of this position is to act as the main point of contact for all product registrations for retail outlets and countries in which our products are sold and to provide all required compliance documents and registrations. The role will work alongside the Product Development team to obtain new product paperwork and ingredient lists, as well as the Sales team to register products in each country selling our brands and will also provide support to the external sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and be the liaison for all regulatory and compliance schemes and requirements.
· Partner with New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Modification (EPM) and 3rd party regulatory consultant teams to ensure all IBB products are compliant and remain compliant to all retailer, State and Country regulations (domestic and internationally).
· Communicate directly with contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers to gather required paperwork and Health Registration documents for product registrations, maintain documents database.
· Subscribe to, manage and monitor all key customer and regulatory watch lists, remain current on all announcements impacting the regulatory environment. Update Executive Team members as well as Product Development on new regulations.
· Manage existing Company registrations (i.e. Green Dot, ICMAD/IBA, Leaping Bunny, Vegan Society, REACH, recycling regulations, etc.) and proactively identify other registration opportunities.
· Provide ingredient lists and requested formula paperwork to call center, sales team, retailers, etc. upon their request.
· Update and maintain “Banned List” and “Master Ingredient List” documents for the team.
· Review artwork for ingredient list accuracy.
· Coordinate all Health Registration documents for products to be sold in other countries including registrations with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, County Clerk, NY Dept. of State and Consulates to obtain, legalize, and authenticate documents (i.e. Certificate of Free Sale, Certificate of Origin).
· Complete and track all paperwork/information required by each country and update documents when formulas change.
· Point person for customer specific demand for data (i.e.: 3E SDS, WERCS and DataSync, CofA requests, account specific setup forms).
*Desired Background and Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will possess:
· A four\-year marketing and/or business degree from a nationally accredited university.
· At least 2\+ years of relevant experience in regulatory/compliance/product development/legal/chemistry within the beauty, personal care, fashion, or broader consumer packaged goods industry.
· Interest in compliance and regulatory aspects of product registrations and supporting the cross functional teams.
· Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects successfully, often with competing deadlines.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and writing, as this position interfaces with all other functional areas of the Company and needs to respond to input from other members of management, as well as interface with sales team and external contacts.
· Strong sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced, priority changing environment.
· A strong work ethic, quick thinker, and the ability to work well under pressure.
· Willingness to function both independently and as part of a broader team that sometimes may have differing opinions and perspectives.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and DropBox. WERCS and DataSync experience or willingness to learn.
· NY County Notary certification a plus (or willingness to become one).
Pay: $85,000\.00 \- $95,000\.00 per year
