Lidman Law, a plaintiff\-side employment law firm located in El Segundo, CA is looking for a part\-time (M\-F 30\-35 hours/week) Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. Our litigation practice consists of approximately 90% wage and hour class actions, and 10% individual employment matters (e.g., FEHA claims).
This is a part\-time (flexible) position open for immediate hire. The candidate must be able to speak Spanish fluently.
This service\-oriented addition to our law firm will greet clients and visitors, screen and direct all incoming calls, schedule meetings and depositions, communicate with clients and vendors, and provide high\-level support to attorneys, clients, and other team members. Additional key responsibilities and administrative duties include but are not limited to routine data entry, preparing and delivering client correspondence and other mail, maintaining the firm’s calendar, managing and tracking inventory and supplies, and working with building maintenance and I.T. vendors to address facilities and technology needs. The Front Desk Receptionist will also assist with client intakes as needed.
The ideal candidate is punctual, highly reliable, enthusiastic, flexible, mature, professional, highly organized, self\-motivated, and able to operate well in a fast\-paced environment. She/He must possess excellent communication and people skills. Start time is 9:00am and punctuality is a must.
Fluent Spanish and office/administrative experience required; B.A. degree and previous law office or professional services industry experience preferred. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader is a plus.
