Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Part Time Full Service Accountant to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and account reconciliation using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis to maintain precise financial records.
- Perform journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting to support month\-end and year\-end closing activities.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial report writing to inform strategic decision\-making.
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions while ensuring adherence to GAAP standards and internal policies.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits \& credits, accrual accounting, and account reconciliation.
- Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis is essential.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards along with experience in financial statement preparation and interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management tasks confidently.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are advantageous but not mandatory.
