Part Time Full Service Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Part Time Full Service Accountant to join our team. Duties

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and account reconciliation using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis to maintain precise financial records.
• Perform journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting to support month\-end and year\-end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial report writing to inform strategic decision\-making.
• Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions while ensuring adherence to GAAP standards and internal policies.
• Support special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits \& credits, accrual accounting, and account reconciliation.
• Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis is essential.
• Knowledge of GAAP standards along with experience in financial statement preparation and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management tasks confidently.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $55,972\.88 \- $67,408\.20 per year
