IVX Health is seeking a Patient Account Specialist to support our billing and revenue operations with a strong focus on patient satisfaction. This full\-time role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients regarding billing questions, payment plans, and account resolution
- Respond to inbound calls and proactively reach out to patients to collect past\-due balances and arrange payments
- Review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to patients in a clear and supportive manner.
- Run monthly patient statements and work closely with front office, insurance follow\-up, and prior authorization teams to ensure smooth reimbursement workflows.
- Identify and assist patients with copay assistance programs, grants, and financial support resources.
- Maintain accurate, timely records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and Medicare guidelines.
- Support overall department goals by collaborating with internal teams to enhance the patient financial experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of coinsurance, deductibles, and copays
- Familiarity with payer portals such as NaviNet, Availity, and EOBs
- Experience working within HIPAA, Medicare, and insurance compliance frameworks
- Tech\-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a positive, proactive mindset

What You Bring
* 2–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting (strongly preferred)
