Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- A hybrid schedule of two (2\) remote days and three (3\) in‑office days.
- Manages division staffing strategies and objectives in support of business goals and client contracts.
- Coordinates job posting, recruitment, hiring, transfer, etc.
- Recommending and coordinating with UTA TCE appropriate job titles, employment categories, pay schedules, and specific grant, contract, and/or work requirements to the staffing processes.
- Manage calendars of the Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of EEC, exercising sound judgment in prioritizing competing demands, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring seamless coordination of executive commitments.
- Interact with other university departments and external entities while managing program requirements.
- Supervises administrative assistant(s) including recruitment, selection training and performance management.
- Manages timekeeping, leaves, access, and other personnel/vendor actions for assigned programs.
- Troubleshoots and resolves discrepancies.
- Organizes and maintains work\-related data with appropriate accessibility and confidentiality.
- Generate reports as assigned. Keeps VP, AVPs, and team members informed of progress and problems.
- Coordinates other projects and administrative functions for the Division.
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5\) years related experience, including at least one (1\) year of supervisory experience or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.
- Proficiency in the specific essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Related certifications or other continuing education.
- Experience with grant/contract\-funded positions.
- Work experience in higher education, continuing education, environmental, healthcare, and/or safety industries.
- Effecting personnel actions and managing personnel data electronically (i.e., using PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar ERP system).
- Excellent verbal, written, and quantitative skills.
- Strong Excel skills.

Salary Salary is commensurate based upon qualifications and relevant experience up to $63,000\.

Job Summary
The Coordinator III, Special Programs Finance and Administration will provide senior\-level administrative and staffing support for the Division, including managing and prioritizing calendars for the Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents. The position oversees program staffing processes, supervises administrative staff, and manages timekeeping, personnel actions, and confidential records in alignment with employment and funding requirements. It also serves as a key liaison to university departments and external partners, supports divisional projects, and delivers responsive customer service to hiring managers and leadership.
