Grandbaby Cakes is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to serve as an extension of our founder, Jocelyn Delk Adams, across both business and personal priorities. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally Type A, thrives on organization, loves keeping multiple moving pieces running smoothly, and enjoys being the person behind the scenes who makes everything work.

This is not a passive admin role. You will be an extension of Jocelyn, helping manage her time, communications, creative planning, and personal logistics so she can stay focused on high\-impact work.

This is a hybrid role primarily remote, with required on\-site support for shoot days, events, and select meetings. Some out\-of\-state travel is required. Hours will vary weekly depending on the production and event schedule.

The role will start as a contract position, with the potential to transition into a long\-term employment role.

    What You’ll DoExecutive \& Business Support

  • Manage Jocelyn’s calendar, scheduling, and time prioritization
  • Draft, format, and send emails on Jocelyn’s behalf
  • Support brand communications, including light promotional copywriting and email formatting
  • Assist with strategic planning by organizing ideas, timelines, and next steps
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and external partners
  • Act as a gatekeeper for inbound requests, helping determine priorities and next steps

  • Plan and coordinate photo shoots, reel days, and production schedules
  • Manage logistics for shoot days (locations, timing, vendors, supplies)
  • Help map out creative calendars and execution plans
  • Track follow\-ups and ensure deliverables are completed
  • Personal Assistant Support

    Handle reasonable personal tasks such as:

  • Running errands
  • Ordering items online
  • Researching and coordinating personal vendors (e.g., party planners, services for family events)
  • Assist with travel planning and logistics
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant, or operations support role
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort drafting polished emails
  • Excellent organizational and time\-management skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to make judgment calls and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working in a creative, founder\-led environment
  • Tech\-savvy and confident using calendars, email platforms, and shared documents
  • Flexible availability for on\-site days and occasional travel

Work Details

* Hours: 10–25 per week (varies by schedule)

* Location: Hybrid (mostly remote, some on\-site)

* Travel: Occasional
